The Key to eating healthy is to consume the right amount of calories for your activity level so that there is a balance between how much energy you consume and how much you expend. Does this mean that you need to count every calorie that you eat? Nope! An easy way to maintain a healthy, balanced diet is to simply make the right choices.
Eating healthy should always be a priority for everyone. For athletes, it is even more imperative. Athletes should be very aware of what foods and drinks they are choosing to consume, because that is what will fuel them during training.
